Meet Dr. Joseph White
Joseph White was originally born in Cincinnati, Ohio but spent most of his life in Florida, in the Tampa area. He earned his undergraduate and medical degree at the University of South Florida, and then went on to do his residency in Illinois.
Dr. White knew from the beginning of his medical journey that he wanted to work in surgery. He was especially attracted by the instruments and tools involved in ENT. He has a special interest in the management of sinusitis and chronic sinus diseases. Dr. White is trained in Transoral robotic surgery and has performed over 25 cases with the technology in residency.
When he’s not working, he enjoys mountain biking, soccer, backpacking, traveling, and anything outdoors. The Smoky Mountains and the opportunity for outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking is one of the reasons he was attracted to Knoxville — that, and his family lives close-by.
Dr. White is excited to start his practice at Greater Knoxville ENT and looks forward to serving patients in the community here!

“Providing patient care has always been the basis for why I chose medicine. In ENT, that could include medical management, surgery, or even a good conversation.”
