Meet Kristie H. Stevens, Au.D, CCC-A, F-AAA
Kristie H. Stevens, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA, is a dedicated audiologist who brings compassion and expertise to her work at Greater Knoxville ENT. Kristie’s path to audiology wasn’t a straight one. Initially set on pursuing Speech Pathology, she pivoted after a gap year working at a hardware store, where she developed a special appreciation for older adults, many of whom wore hearing aids. Her desire to work in the medical field, combined with her interest in helping those with hearing loss, led her to the field of audiology.
Kristie earned her undergraduate degree through the University of Tennessee’s 3+1 program in Audiology and Speech Pathology, which was completed through UT Knoxville and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Memphis. Kristie then spent three years working at Purchase ENT – Baptist Health Medical Group in Paducah, KY, where she honed her skills diagnosing and treating hearing loss, tinnitus, and communication difficulties.
At Greater Knoxville ENT, Kristie specializes in fitting patients with hearing aids, a role she finds particularly rewarding. She loves seeing the positive impact that properly fitted hearing aids can have on a person’s life, especially for those who have been living with hearing loss for a long time. By improving their hearing, she helps them reconnect with the world around them and regain their quality of life.
In her free time, Kristie enjoys a variety of hobbies, including crocheting, cross-stitching, quilting, hiking with friends, and spending time with her husband and their beloved older dog, Bentley. She is a member of ASHA and AAA
